Our full day of rafting Oregon’s beautiful McKenzie River includes two trip options: from Paradise Campground to Blue River or from Blue River to EWEB Landing. We love to point out the wildlife, geographic features and natural beauty of the river as you experience it.

Full Day on McKenzie River
Paradise to Blue River
- Ideal for those who want to experience stretches of more continuous whitewater
- For eight miles, one rapid after another, with few calm spots
- Break for lunch at a riverside picnic area; see lunch options
- Enter calmer waters past the covered bridge in Rainbow
- More rapids before taking out at Forest Glen Landing in Blue River
- Length: ~ 14 miles; time on the river: 4 hours (see map)
Full Day on McKenzie River
Blue River to EWEB
- Great for those who want a full-day introduction to rafting
- Start with milder rapids and learn paddling techniques
- Build up to more exciting rapids, such as Clover Point, Eagle Rock and Bear Creek rapids
- Riverside lunch and rest break is built into the trip; see lunch options
- More rapids follow lunch: Marten and Gate Creek rapids, plus view a grotto and seasonal waterfall
- Take out is below Goodpasture Covered Bridge
- Length: ~ 16 miles; time on the river: 4-5 hours (see map)

Bring Your Own
- We will provide a 43-quart cooler per raft. Best option for folks with dietary restrictions and to save costs.
Picnic Lunch
- We provide fried chicken, homemade deviled eggs and coleslaw, fresh fruit, dessert, mints and lemonade; $20 per adult; $15 per youth ages 4-12; a 3-day notice is required for picnic lunch.
Order Big Town Hero™ Lunch
- Customize your order to choose a 6-inch sandwich, bag of chips and a canned soda. $14 each. Submit an order form for each person. A 3-day notice is required for a Big Town Hero™ lunch order.
We combine groups to fill rafts and run multiple rafts to fill trips. Should your group want an exclusive raft, generally the costs are $75 per person or $450 for a half day; $95 per person or $570 for a full day. Please let us know when you make your reservation, and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
- Cancellations made more than 14 days before your trip date will not be assessed a charge.
- Cancellations made 7 to 14 days before your trip will be assessed a 50% charge.
- Cancellations made less than 7 days before your trip will be assessed the full charge.
- Groups of 28 or more will have an adjusted cancellation timeline because guides are secured farther in advance of the trip date. We will present that information to those groups as necessary.
All participants must sign our Release, Assumption of Risk and Indemnity Agreement. Participants may bring signed releases to the rafting trip starting site or sign them upon arrival. We will have release forms available.
